Orthopedics and Spine Care

A Leader in Orthopedics and Spine Care

Thousands of patients trust us each year for orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements, fracture repairs, arthroscopies, and orthopedic and neurosurgical spine surgeries. Our physicians have access to the latest technology including robotics and advanced imaging to help provide outstanding care to the members of our community.

A Leader in Orthopedic and Spine Quality

Parkwest’s orthopedic and spine program have been recognized both nationally and regionally for excellent outcomes and outstanding quality.

In 2020 U.S. News & World reports recognized Parkwest as high performing for Knee & Hip replacements.

Building for our Future

Parkwest Medical Center recently expanded to meet the growing needs of our award-winning orthopedic program. The new Dogwood Tower (a $99 million construction project) opened in December 2019. The project included:

  • Seven new surgical suites (28 total operating rooms)
  • Two new patient floors that include dedicated orthopedic and neurosurgery units

Patient Experience

Knowing what to expect before surgery allows our patients to be better informed and take a more active role in their recovery. Patients meet with a clinical orthopedic educator before surgery to learn how to prepare for their procedure, including what to expect when they return home and information about physical therapy. View our complete class schedule here.

At Parkwest we strive to provide a caring atmosphere and deliver an excellent patient experience. Our pledge of excellence begins by our commitment to always putting our patients first.
