Alicia Hernandez presented with BEE Award

Congratulations to Alicia Hernandez, a patient care assistant on 2 Montvue, for being recognized with the BEE award. Alicia was nominated by a patient for the compassion and care she provided to her patient and her attention to detail.

Alicia’s Nomination

“Well she’s one of the nicest people I have ever met and is very sweet. Her attention to detail is also amazing. She’s very smart, ambitious and thorough. I am saying this because I have been to a lot of hospitals, saw a lot of doctors and it is almost like she is telepathic.

For instance, I would be thinking of something I needed and sure enough, she knocks and there she would be asking if she could help. Even with the whole COVID-19 mask, I can still tell that she is smiling and is always upbeat.

Even though I know nothing about her, she made me feel like we’ve been friends for years. She’s not one to wear a person out by talking about herself. You are her main focus! She truly is a Florence Nightingale and she defines the word professional.

Alicia is outstanding. It’s like when you go to a junior high basketball game and watch some good player and then go watch Michael Jordan play basketball. She’s that much better. She is truly a superstar and deserves the BEE Award.

It’s almost like you want to get sick just so you can come back and let her take care of you. I bet she doesn’t even care about rewards. I think her reward is the gift she has of helping people like me! Thank you Alicia!
