We’re proud to welcome Board-Certified Medical Oncologist Basem Goueli, MD, PhD to Thompson Oncology Group. Dr. Goueli will serve as the director of hematology and medical oncology for Thompson  Cancer Network and will care for patients at our Thompson Cancer Survival Center – Downtown and Thompson Cancer Survival Center – West locations.  Basem Goueli, MD,

Graduation Day for Nurse Residents

Today Parkwest celebrated by graduating its largest cohort of nurse residents to complete the Covenant Health’s Nurse Residency Program. Peninsula also celebrated the graduation of its first cohort of nurse residents. The 12-month structured program used classroom learning seminars, case studies, small group discussion, precepted clinical practice, and evidence-based practice projects to train the newly-graduated nurses.
