Employees Receive Silver Lamp Scholarships

Congratulations to Angie Goins and Danielle Parrish for being named 2018 Silver Lamp Scholarship winners. The Silver Lamp Awards are presented by The Trinity Health Foundation of East Tennessee to enhance the skills of dedicated healthcare professionals. The recipients receive scholarship funds in the amount of $2500 toward their continuing education. Goins and Parrish will 


Danielle Bishop, RN, Honored with DAISY Award

A nurse at Parkwest Medical Center was honored this morning with The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. The award is part of the DAISY Foundation’s program to recognize the super-human efforts nurses perform every day. The DAISY Award was established in 1999 by the family of a patient who had received extraordinary care and compassion from his nurses during his final days. Today The DAISY Award was presented to Danielle Bishop, a nurse in our Childbirth Center. Chief nursing officer Lynn Cagle presented Katy’s DAISY award this morning.
