- About Us
Congratulations to Dusty Glass, sterile processing manager for being recognized with the BEE award. Dusty was nominated by the director of surgical services for his exceptional leadership and dedication to his department and employees.
Dusty’s Nomination
“Dusty Glass, our manager in sterile processing, came to us at Parkwest in a very dire time for this unit. At the time of his on-boarding he only had four team members in sterile processing. He has worked early mornings, late nights, doubles, and weekends to make sure surgery had what it needed. During that time, he also worked alongside the team in sterile processing supporting them every bit of the way. In the last six months, he has built this department to more than twenty-two team members. He has done an amazing job resetting the confidence level that providers have towards the sterile processing department. He has offered stability, support, and continued education for staff to grow within the department. Dusty has also identified several areas for overall department improvement.
Dusty has been a wonderful addition to this team and leads with passion and grace. He is very passionate about the role he and his team play in the daily operations of surgery. Sterile processing is the foundation of the surgery department and I am confident that Dusty’s leadership has helped make the department successful. He is an exceptional leader who provides exceptional service to our providers and leaders.”
