- About Us
It’s Staff Feature Friday, and today we’re getting to know a little bit more about Andy, one of our volunteers at Parkwest!
How long have you worked at Parkwest? 12 years
Why do you love working at Parkwest? It is very simple. I love the people I work with and the interaction with the patients. The simple “thank you’s” from both are important.
Where are you from? Pearisburg, Virginia
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why? I’m pretty much a “homebody” so traveling does not do much for me. I prefer doing something extra for someone else and making a difference makes me feel better.
What do you feel most proud of? I’ll leave that up to other people to tell me. I did shoot my age playing golf probably 25-30 times. I never thought I would do that.
What is your best childhood memory? Playing golf with my friends-18 holes in the morning, 18 holes in the afternoon, have dinner and play golf to dark.
