It’s Staff Feature Friday, and today we’re getting to know a little bit more about Meghan, one of our occupational therapists at Parkwest.
How long have you worked at Parkwest? 2 years as of last week
Why do you love working at Parkwest? I love my therapy co-workers. We have an amazing team filled with lots of knowledge and heart . I am lucky to work alongside of them everyday.
Where are you from? I grew up outside of Chicago, IL. Then I lived in FL, PA, DE and then WA prior to moving to TN.
What is the craziest thing you have ever done? That would be a toss up between paragliding off Poo-Poo point in Issaquah, WA or white water rafting on the White Salmon River that included a 15 ft cliff dive and a level 5 water fall for the last rapid.
If you found a $5 bill, how would you spend it? I would save it for a future vacation.
What is your favorite TV show? Anything that I do not fall asleep during after 5 minutes. If I sit still too long, I fall asleep.
What is your favorite family tradition? We have missed out on this while my husband has been in school, but – taking a hike on New Years Day (or the weekend after) a part of a good intention to be appreciating nature and staying active in the new year.
Are you an introvert or extrovert? I am an extroverted introvert.
How do you want others to remember you? As someone who is loving, kind and always willing to give a hug as needed.
