It’s Staff Feature Friday, and today we’re getting to know a little bit more about Whitney at Parkwest!

How long have you worked at Parkwest? In June, I will have worked at Parkwest for five years.

Why do you love working at Parkwest? I love to be involved with facility initiatives that improve patient outcomes and the safety of patients and co-workers.

Where are you from?  I was born in Knoxville and grew up in Madisonville, TN.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why? I would love to take an Alaskan cruise and land tour, because it is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

What do you feel most proud of? I am most proud of my son who has demonstrated amazing persistence in his own nursing education and career and is now working in a cardiovascular ICU.

What is your best childhood memory? One of my favorite childhood memories is the time spent camping, boating, and swimming with my grandparents and other family members on Norris Lake.

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? I would help survivors of human trafficking by providing a safe home and resources needed to help them to heal and grow in God’s love.
