Graduation Day for Nurse Residents

Today Parkwest celebrated with our second cohort of nurse residents to complete the Covenant Health’s Nurse Residency Program. The 12-month structured program used classroom learning seminars, case studies, small group discussion, precepted clinical practice, and evidence-based practice projects to train the newly-graduated nurses.

At today’s graduation the group was welcomed and congratulated by chief administrative officer Neil Heatherly.

Thanks to all of the Parkwest leaders who worked closely with the nurse residents in their departments, and to nurse educator Pam Sparks and her team for their dedicated support to the program.
