Shawnna Hale presented with BEE Award

Congratulations to Shawwna Hale, a CNA on our 4 Riverstone Unit, for being recognized with the BEE award. Shawnna was nominated by a nurse in our float pool.

Shawnna’s Nomination

“As a float pool nurse at Parkwest I work with many people who give great care, but I want to nominate Shawnna for her outstanding attitude, care, help, and efforts.

Shawnna is always a pleasure to work with. I trust her and her knowledge about our patients. Shawnna recently stood out tonight by assisting me with care for a patient. I asked for her help when she was not busy and told her what the patient needed. I had set up the room with supplies and got pulled away for another patient.

Many of Shawwna’s night shift teammates stayed over for her surprise BEE presentation.

Shawnna had taken the time and effort to completely set up a work space for me with my supplies and materials neatly laid out. She also assisted me throughout the entire length of care. This patient needed a significant amount of attention and Shawnna stayed for not only me, but the patient as well.

Shawnna asked questions and was able to expand her knowledge to provide even better care to our patients (which I don’t know if that’s even possible with her wonderful attitude). Shawnna is by far one of my favorite employees to work with, and clearly there are many reasons why.”

Shawwna with leadership
Members of hospital leadership presented Shawwna with The BEE Award.

Shawnna was presented with a certificate, lapel pin, a floral arrangement, cupcakes and a small gift. Thank you, Shawnna, for being a team player, and exhibiting excellence every day!
